Gabrielle van der Schoor - Principle Psychologist

Gabrielle has almost 20 years experience working previously as a nurse. Over her past 15 years as a psychologist, she has drawn upon her wide interest in assisting people to reduce their distress and move towards wellness. 


Her work is influenced by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness therapeutic approaches. 


She is trained in pain psychology and uses techniques such as ACT and CBT to assist clients towards acceptance of pain and injury, moving towards more value based living. 


Gabrielle enjoys assisting clients with a wide range of issues; with special interest in working with chronic health, chronic pain and injury management. 


Gabrielle works commonly with clients with conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Long COVID, Endometriosis and neurological conditions.

Kylie Laidlaw - Mental Health Social Worker EMDR Therapist

Kylie is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) with over 20 years of experience in a range of settings, including inpatient and community mental health and various community and family support agencies.


She is passionate about working together with clients (16yrs+) to navigate the challenges that life brings; helping clients get unstuck, finding shared ways forward to live a more meaningful, purposeful and functional life. She is trained in a range of evidence-based therapy approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT, & EMDR.  She intuitively integrates therapy approaches to offer a personalised therapy experience that is most appropriate for each individual.


Kylie supports clients who have a range of presenting mental health challenges such as troubling and overwhelming thoughts, anxiety and panic, low mood/energy/depression, OCD, BPD and interpersonal challenges. She has a special interest in supporting people to recover from traumatic experiences. In-person and telehealth appointments are available.

Ashley Glennie - Psychologist

Ashley is a General Psychologist from Ontario, Canada. Ashley completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) degree at the University of the Sunshine Coast Queensland. She is passionate about working with individuals across their lifespan, addressing a variety of concerns and helping them lead more empowering lives.


Her professional journey has provided her with extensive experience in multidisciplinary settings. She has worked with an NDIS provider, both in clinical and community settings, as well as in a high-school environment. Prior to her psychology career, Ashley served as a Support Worker in mental health and residential care where she gathered valuable insight into the many challenges individuals may encounter.
 

Ashley is kind and compassionate and takes a non-judgmental approach to therapy. She prioritizes the therapeutic alliance and building a solid foundation with clients. She is transparent with clients in a neuro-affirmative way - not wanting to change who the client is but rather helping them become the best version of themselves. 


Ashley assists clients from age 10 years onwards presenting with Anxiety, Depression, ADHD and Neurodiversity, Behavioural concerns/ school avoidance, self-harming, OCD, Phobias, Emotion regulation and adjustment challenges.

Stephanie Thwaites Mental Health Social Worker

Stephanie Thwaites- Mental Health Social Worker & Psychotherapist

Stephanie is a Clinical Mental Health Social Worker and Psychotherapist, drawing on over 12 years of experience working clinically across the life span with individuals and groups in both the public and private sector. 


Steph draws upon her training in Social work and Humanistic Counselling, using a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Emotion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Mindfulness based treatments and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.  Steph also has experience facilitating Sand Play Therapy and offers this to her clients where appropriate to enhance their therapeutic outcome. 


Steph has experience and passion for working with adults fro 17 years. People with a variety of issues come to Steph for counselling such as anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders , body image issues and addiction issues. she works holistically, supporting peoples emotional development and healing, in order to enhance and improve your overall quality of life.

Courtney Pearson - Counsellor/Psychotherapist

Courtney Pearson is a registered counsellor and psychotherapist who provides specialist mental health support for men experiencing relationship issues, anxiety, depression, interpersonal trauma, stress, burnout, emotional regulation and identity confusion.  Courtney’s mission is to provide a nurturing service that helps to break down the stigma of men asking for help within an environment of acceptance and authenticity.  

Courtney uses a trauma-informed and personalised approach to help men develop emotion regulation skills, break unhealthy relationship patterns, embrace their strengths, forgive their mistakes and develop their unique identity.  

Courtney is a trained Narrative Therapy practitioner and uses attachment-based therapies, emotion-focused therapies and strength-based therapies to assist men in confronting their issues before they spiral out of control.

Shadelle Bauer- Accredited Mental Health Occupational Therapist

Shadelle is a Accredited Mental Health Occupational Therapist and Counsellor with close to 20 years of experince across a variety of mental health settings including inpatient, outpatient, community and private practice. She has a warm and relaxed approach that quickly puts clients at ease. 


Shadelle has a genuine curiosity to understand life's challenges and works predominately with clients aged 17 years and over. 


Shadelle draws upon a range of evidence based practices and has formal training in applying the following modalities.
